Evelyn Manu is an all-rounded accountant and tax specialist accumulating over 12 years of experience in accounting, audit and taxation. Evelyn is registered with TRA as a tax consultant and currently serves as a Director at Coretax Africa Limited.

Over the years, Evelyn has been successfully involved in tax health check reviews, managing tax audits, tax dispute resolutions, advising on effective tax planning and restructuring modules that positively impacted clients bottom lines and enhance overall financial performance, implementation of process improvements to enhance tax efficiency, assist in VAT refund review and application, advise on share transfers, advising clients on various international matters including tax treaties and permanent establishment and overall assisting clients on tax compliances to enhance correct computation of taxes and timely submission of returns and tax payments.

Further, she has actively participated in carrying out audit of financial statements for clients, assisted in financial analysis and reporting, optimizing and streamlining accounting procedures, and advising on regulatory matters such as capital management and regulatory reporting and compliances. In varying capacities, she was involved in spearheading institution-wide projects such as the recovery and going concern plans, evaluating new products against organization course and several other roles beyond her primary responsibilities, altogether demonstrating her leadership and results-driven aspirations. She is also passionate about sharing her knowledge and learning from others and she demonstrates this through several articles she has published.

She is a Fellow Chartered and Certified Accountant (FCCA) and an Associate Certified Public Accountant (ACPA) recognized by the National Board of Accountants and Auditors (NBAA). She holds a certificate of Leadership Development from the University of Oxford, a bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting and Finance (BAF) from Mzumbe University, and is currently pursuing her advance diploma in international taxation (ADIT).
