Farida Idd is a Tax and Transfer Pricing Associate at Coretax Africa with hands-on experience supporting both local and multinational clients in tax advisory, transfer pricing compliance, and business support services. She holds a strong academic background in Accounting and Finance from Mzumbe University and is a final-stage CPA candidate, bringing analytical precision and financial modelling expertise to her role.

At Coretax Africa, Farida contributes to the preparation of transfer pricing documentation in line with Tanzanian and OECD guidelines, undertakes economic and industry analyses, and assists in benchmarking studies. She is also actively engaged in preparing corporate tax returns, conducting tax health checks, and supporting clients during audits and tax reviews. Through Coretax’s structured training program, she continues to sharpen her technical skills while building a reputation for diligence, professionalism, and attention to detail.

She gained practical experience through internships at KPMG East Africa and the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA). At KPMG, she supported the Advisory department on a World Bank project. At TRA Ilala Tax Region (2023–2024), she worked in the Audit department, assisting in audits of large and medium taxpayers, preparing reports and working papers, calculating VAT returns, and ensuring timely submission of tax documents. She also participated in TRA meetings and maintained accurate accounting records with a strong commitment to punctuality and professionalism.
