Jacquiline Jones Mndeme

Country Representative-Catalyste+ Tanzania – Business Support Services

Jacquiline is the Country Representative for Catalyste+ Tanzania, leading the implementation of Accelerating Women Empowerment (AWE) project 2020-2027 in Tanzania funded by Global Affairs Canada (GAC). 

She has over 8 years of experience in projects management in international economic organization. Her responsibilities include but not limited to contributing to program management, leadership, program development, operations management and organizational learning (Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning); focusing on projects’ focus areas to drive inclusive growth and sustainable development and enabling effective and efficient advancement in gender equality and women’s economic empowerment (GE/WEE); and effectively managing in-country team and proactively nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including funders, partners and stakeholders. 

Jacquiline has worked in projects’ operations management, knowledge management and Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) with Catalyste+, previously known as CESO-SACO for Strengthening Capacity through Innovation and Volunteer Expertise (STRIVE) project 2015-2020 and Accelerating Women Empowerment (AWE) project 2020-2027 funded by Global Affairs Canada (GAC). She is very passionate with promotion of gender equality and women’s economic empowerment (GE/WEE), environmental sustainability, innovation and sustainable development. She also briefly worked in the banking sector, in credit and retail banking. 

She holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from the University of Dar es Salaam and currently pursuing a master’s degree in Project Planning and Management at the University of Dar es Salaam to complete in 2025. 

Prior to Catalyste+ (under the administration of Coretax Africa), she was with ABA-Alliance Advisory Limited in projects’ management. And working with CESO-SACO in knowledge management and Monitoring Evaluation and Learning (MEL) and as a project officer for Strengthening Capacity through Innovation and Volunteer Expertise (STRIVE) project. She also worked with CRDB Bank Plc in credit and Government Accounts Unit.
