Nuru is an Assistant Manager in the Tax Department at Coretax Africa Limited, bringing in seven years of expertise in taxation. She has worked with clients across multiple industries in Tanzania, gaining in-depth knowledge of various sectors and their unique tax needs.​

In her role, Nuru oversees tax matters for Coretax’s clients, providing expert tax advisory and compliance services. She leads a team of legal and tax professionals to ensure seamless client support and effective tax solutions.​

Her expertise spans corporate and personal taxation, tax health checks, due diligence, and compliance across both direct and indirect taxes. She has worked with clients in industries such as financial services, insurance, transport and logistics, mining, agriculture, telecommunications, and manufacturing.​

Nuru is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Dar es Salaam. She has also earned an Advanced Diploma in International Tax from the Chartered Institute of Taxation (UK).​

Before joining Coretax Africa, Nuru was a Senior Associate at PwC and ABA Alliance, where she gained valuable experience working with businesses in different sectors.
